The General Assembly of Members was successfully concluded
During the Annual General Meeting held on Friday, July 3, attended by a large number of Greek composers, lyricists, and music publishers, the green light was given for a series of initiatives that will make the Organization’s role as the country’s collective management organization even more effective and resilient.
First Half of 2026 Revenue Distribution
The creators and rights holders of AUTODIA will receive over 11 million euros (net amount) for the first half of 2026. This amount represents a 20% increase compared to the corresponding first half of 2025. The distribution of settlement statements for the June 2026 distribution began on Wednesday, July 8.
Based on the approved financial results for fiscal year 2025, net distributable rights total over 28 million euros, derived from the following revenue sources: Public Performance by Mechanical Means, Live Performance (Concerts, Festivals, etc.), Movie Theaters, Television, Radio, Online (MINT, TheMLC, Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney, etc.), Major Live Concerts, Mechanical Reproduction (Independent Productions – BIEM/IFPI), Foreign Rights, Private Copying, and Licenses for Audiovisual Productions (Synchro).
Key Financial Results for Fiscal Year 2025:
The positive financial results in recent years confirm AUTODIA’s steady progress and ensure its long-term sustainability. In summary:
- Revenue increased by 23.5% to 37.5 million euros.
- Net royalties paid to members/rights holders increased by 22.7% during the fiscal year, exceeding 28 million euros.
- A notable increase in online royalties (music streaming/VOD), which amounted to 8.5 million euros.
- A 17.5% increase in members with direct contracts (2,210), with a significant influx of commercial and timeless repertoire.
Business Development Using Cutting-Edge Technologies:
- Exploring collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research “Dimokritos” to design and implement innovative digital tools, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, with the aim of optimizing the organization’s business processes.
- Integration of AI applications to automate processes, boost productivity, improve the quality of services provided, and reduce operating costs.
- Design and development of a new-generation information system to meet the Organization’s current needs in terms of documentation and distribution.
Support for the AUTODIA Members’ Relief Fund:
Plans have been approved to organize a major concert this coming November with the aim of substantially bolstering the “Nikos Antypas” Relief Fund for its members to address their unexpected, urgent, and basic livelihood needs—primarily related to illness—as well as to support social, cultural, and educational events.
Health Insurance Coverage Program:
AUTODIA members who are creators or beneficiaries will now have the opportunity to enroll in a special group health insurance program.
Professional Insurance Program:
It was decided to explore the possibility of establishing a Professional Insurance Fund (TEA), which would provide AUTODIA creators and rights-holding members with lump-sum or pension benefits.
