The Scientific Conference of the Master’s Program “Mediterranean Crop Production Systems” was successfully concluded.

The Scientific Conference of the Master’s Program in “Mediterranean Crop Production Systems” was held with great success in the Main Auditorium of the School of Agriculture at the University of Thessaly, with the theme: “Mediterranean Crop Production Systems: Challenges and Prospects.”

The conference was an important step toward connecting the academic community with the productive and business sectors of the agri-food industry, highlighting current issues and prospects related to agriculture and rural development in the Mediterranean region.

During the event, topics were presented concerning innovation and the enhancement of productivity in the agricultural sector, business prospects in the primary sector, the development of new crop varieties, the management of floriculture operations, the production of aromatic and medicinal plants, as well as developments in the fields of viticulture and oenology.
