Mapping the History – group photography exhibition curated by Daphne Zoumboulaki
A photographic walk dedicated to Hydra has been set up, following a route that passes through historical sites
As part of the celebrations for the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution, the Municipality of Hydra presents the group photo exhibition “Mapping the History”; curated by Daphne Zoumboulaki.
Following a route that passes through historical sites, a photographic walk dedicated to Hydra has been set up, through the eyes of 17 photographers. The professional or amateur Greek and foreign participating photographers were selected due to their special relationship with Hydra.
Additionally, Maria Voulgari (https://hydrawalkingtours.com/) has organized guided tours of this route, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn about Hydra, not only through its past and history, but also from a modern perspective.
The photos, after the end of the exhibition, will be donated through the Municipality of Hydra to institutions and/or public areas of Hydra.
Participating photographers:
Roberto Cortese, Nada Lettermann & Fuentes, Jacqueline Savidge, Caroline Walter, Stamatis Athanasoulas, Chloe Akrithakis, Nikos Aliagas, Costas Vergas, Vangelis Gionis, Thodoris Zoumboulakis, Dakis Ioannou, Vassilis Maragos, Faidon Papamichail, Ioanna Ralli, Amalia Sotiropoulou, Maya Tsokli, Cleopatra Charitou
