Educational activity:
Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the beginning of the liberation campaign of 1821, the students of the Visual Arts Group οf the Ralleia Primary Schools of Piraeus carried out an educational programme on the theme of portraits of the Greek fighters depicted in Adam Friedel‘s lithographs.
Utilizing the visual work of the Danish philhellenic artist, which is included in the Collection of Prints of the Central Service of the G.A.K., the students depicted the portraits of 24 leading figures of the Greek Revolution in a creative and imaginative way.
The programme was realized with the contribution of the Central Service of the General State Archives.
