Uniformed bodies is a collective publication which attempts to explore the sartorial element of uniform. Twenty –three participants from different fields– fashion designers, visual artists, dress historians, museologists, photographers, art curators, theorists, performers, researchers, jurists-interact with aspects and functions of this special category of clothing. Different types of costumes and the themes they raise are highlighted and reinterpreted through texts and works of various mediums of forms and moods.

2wo+1NE=2 (Valissia Gotsis, Stella Panagopoulou), Eleftheria Arapoglou, Maria Varela, Tanya Veliskos, ENDYMA (Michael Kardamakis), Olga Evangelidou, Mary Thevaiou, Eftychia Karamolegou, Kika Kyriakakou, Apostolopoulos, Giorgos Maraziotis, Giorgos Mavropoulos, Group “garment and law” (Chrysoula Kapartziani, Spyros Koulocheris, Myrsini take part in Uniformed bodies through their texts or artworks.

The presentation of the book uniformed bodies took place at Hyper Hypo bookstore with the participation of contributors of the publication.

The visual artist Maria Varela, the lawyer Spyros Koulocheris, member of the group “garment and law”, the visual artist Mary Thevaiou and the curator Kika Kyriakakou will speak. The musician Aris Siafas participated with a vocal performance.
