The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports announced on Wednesday, May 13, the results for the admission of students to the Onassis Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year, as part of a process that attracted significant interest again this year from students and their families.

In total, 3,450 students took the exams for one of the 1,786 available spots at the 20 Onassis Public Schools that will open in September 2026. The number of applicants reflects the momentum the institution has been gradually building since its early years of operation.

The admission process took place on April 26 via a written test of knowledge and skills in Modern Greek and Mathematics, with an emphasis primarily on comprehension, critical thinking, and the ability to apply what students have already learned during their school career.

The parents/guardians of applicants receive an email notification when the results are posted on the application platform and can then access the results by logging into the application using the Taxisnet credentials of the person who submitted it, at https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/ekpaideuse/eggraphe-se-skholeio/ps-peis-es.

In the event of a tie, students are ranked in order of success based on the random number assigned to them during the special lottery held on Friday, April 24, 2026.

For information regarding enrollment in high-performing schools, parents and guardians may contact the relevant schools directly starting Friday, May 15, or visit the website for more details : https://dedimos.minedu.gov.gr/

Following the announcement of the results, the process of confirming registrations and filling the positions will begin, and alternates will be called upon in the event that any successful candidates do not accept their positions.
