
The dates and eligibility requirements for the Petrides Residency for a Greek Visual Artist in New York—one of the most important mobility programs for the Greek visual arts community—have been finalized.
Since its inception in 2012, the residency has already hosted 13 Greek visual artists, creating a fruitful bridge of collaboration between Greece and the New York art scene.
Program Details & Financial Support
The residency will take place at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in Brooklyn, one of the world’s leading residency organizations.
Dates & Location: October 1 – December 31, 2027, ISCP, New York.
Financial Support: A monthly stipend of $3,000, plus a one-time payment of $1,000 to cover travel expenses.
Selection: The evaluation process is conducted exclusively by the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) through an independent three-member committee. The sponsor’s role is limited to providing financial support; it has no access to applications or involvement in the selection process.
– Eligibility: Visual artists with a Greek passport, aged 30 or older, who have lived in Greece during the two years prior to the start of the call for applications.
