This year, International Archives Day will be celebrated with group activities accompanied by a guided tour of the Historical Archives, with the aim of allowing visitors to share in the experience of archival research. The archival material will serve as the “raw material” for research and an exploration of the inexhaustible possibilities offered by the diversity of archival documents.

Specifically, each workshop cycle will feature two introductory activities on archival research, accompanied by a guided tour of the areas where archival and collection materials are classified and processed.

During each session, research will focus on two thematic areas:
a. Tourism in Greece from the interwar period through the 1960s.
b. The financing of film production companies.

Workshop session times: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM and
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the start of each workshop.
