The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) has opened a new application cycle for the spring semester, with a deadline of November 10, 2026, and classes commencing in January 2027. This is a new opportunity for those who want to invest in their knowledge, skills, and personal growth without having to put their work, family, or other daily responsibilities on the back burner.

With more than two decades of experience in open and distance education, OUC has developed a modern model of university studies that combines academic quality, technological innovation, and flexibility. The educational process takes place entirely online—from instruction and academic support to final exams—enabling students to study wherever they are and organize their time according to their own lifestyle.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, 4 undergraduate and 17 graduate programs are offered, as well asι επιλογές PhD studies. 

BA 

Studies in Hellenic Culture(reduced fees at €6.000), Business Administration , Law και Business Economics (new programme).

Master’s Programs in Contemporary and Dynamic Fields

Computer and Network Security, Bioethics and Healthcare Ethics- Environmental Conservation and Management (€3.900), Sustainable Environmental Engineering (€3.900), Master of Business Administration (Τhe Open MBA), Healthcare Management  (€4.500). 

The following programs are offered at a very affordable total cost (€3,300) Greek Linguistics and Literature , Educational Sciences , Theatre Studies , PNYX: Politcal History, Theory and Practice , Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning  as also as Cultural Policy and Development  (€4.400). 

English-language programs include the following:: Cognitive Systems (collaboration with University of Cyprus), Master of Business Administration (The Open MBA), Human-Computer Interaction (10% fees reduction for 2026-2027 academic year), International Shipping Management (in collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology and with a special 10% discount) and Security and Defence (in collaboration with the Flying School of Icarus and with a 15% tuition discount).

OUC offers an additional 7% discount for full payment of the cost of the thematic modules selected for the 2026–2027 academic year within the designated prepayment period, as well as other discounts and scholarships in accordance with the University’s policy.

Particular flexibility is also provided by the ability to monitor standalone thematic units-independent courses ,without enrolling in an entire degree program. This allows employees and professionals to choose targeted continuing education and enhance their knowledge and skills in areas that align with their personal or professional goals.
