The Curriculum Committee of the Inter-Departmental Ma Program (D.P.M.S.) of the Departments of Social Theology and Christian Culture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (lead institution) and Organizational Management, Marketing, and Tourism at DIPAE (partner institution), at its meeting No. 52/ June 11, 2026, announces up to sixty (60) spots for graduate students who wish to participate during the 2026–2027 academic year in the Inter-institutional Graduate Studies Program entitled: “Religious and Pilgrimage Tourism.”

The purpose of the Program is to cultivate and promote scientific knowledge and research in fields related, on the one hand, to the theoretical foundations of religious and pilgrimage tourism, and, on the other hand, to the provision and development of skills for those interested in pursuing a career in the field of religious and pilgrimage tourism or in working professionally in this field in either the public or private sector.

The Master’s program lasts three (3) academic semesters. It includes two semesters of coursework, and the thesis is completed during the third semester. The total number of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits required to earn the Master’s Degree is ninety (90), distributed as follows: thirty (30) ECTS in the winter semester, thirty (30) ECTS in the spring semester, and thirty (30) ECTS for the master’s thesis.

The program awards a Master’s Degree titled: “Religious and Pilgrimage Tourism.”

Classes are held Monday through Friday (afternoons) and Saturday (mornings and afternoons) via fully modern distance learning in accordance with current regulations.

To enroll in the Master’s Program, students are required to pay tuition fees of €2,000. Graduate students are required to pay 200 euros upon enrollment and three equal installments (600 euros per installment) before the start of the respective semesters.

Candidates

The following are eligible for admission to the Postgraduate Program:

• holders of bachelor’s degrees from Greek universities (A.E.I.) and Technical Educational Institutes (T.E.I.),
• holders of bachelor’s degrees from equivalent institutions abroad,
• holders of bachelor’s degrees from Higher Ecclesiastical Academies (HEA) and the Training Schools of the Armed Forces and Security Forces.

Final-year students from the above departments are also eligible, provided they have completed their undergraduate studies by the time of their enrollment in the Master’s program (October 2026).
