The Department of Production Engineering and Management at the School of Engineering of the International Hellenic University is offering a MSc in Applied Automation Engineering Systems, leading to the award of a Master’s Degree titled “Applied Automation Engineering Systems.” This program is recognized and awarded credit points by the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) as equivalent to all other master’s programs in the country.

Graduates of higher education institutions (universities and technical colleges) in Greece and abroad are eligible for admission to this program, following an evaluation of their formal and substantive qualifications, as provided for by current legislation. Final-year students may also apply, provided they have earned their degree or completed their studies before the start of classes, even if they have yet to take their graduation oath. The program lasts three semesters: the first two semesters consist of flexible learning formats, while the third semester is dedicated to the completion of the thesis and may be carried out under remote supervision.

Classes are scheduled to begin in October 2026. The Academic Calendar provides for three exam periods per year: at the end of each semester (winter, spring) and make-up exams in September/October. Each exam period lasts no longer than 2 weeks.

The duration of study in the MSc in “Applied Automation Engineering Systems” must be at least 12 calendar months from the date of enrollment in the program. and the time required to complete the master’s thesis may not be less than one calendar quarter from the date the thesis topic is assigned. The full-time program corresponds to 90 credit units (ECTS credits).

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in English, as there is the possibility of teaching in English. Level B2 is considered the minimum requirement for demonstrated proficiency in English. Certification of this level is defined by the relevant Government Gazette (FEK) issued by the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP), which establishes the levels of English proficiency. Letters of recommendation, as well as proficiency in one or more other foreign languages, are considered additional qualifications. Candidates will then be invited to a personal online interview, the schedule for which will be communicated to each candidate via a personal message (failure to participate in the interview process will result in the cancellation of the application).

Tuition fees amount to 2,000 euros and are paid in three installments.
