After the great success of the children’s musical-theatrical performance “Ririka’s Birthday” with Maria Kilaidoni at the Metaxourgeio Theatre last winter, the show now travels to Thessaly! Specifically in the framework of the festival “From Kisavos to the wave” organized by the region of Thessaly. The performance will be given on Friday 9 August at the open-air theatre of Melivoia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Agia and with free entrance.

About the play

Today is the birthday of Ririka the bear! But this year is the first year that she will celebrate alone since she recently moved to another mountain, away from her family to live on her own. To cheer her up, she thought she would go downtown to eat her favorite peanut ice cream from the best ice cream shop in the world!

A story that tells children in a simple way about the huge value of friendship and teaches us that for all problems there is a solution!

About the show

The performance is based on the children’s book of the same name by Maria Kilaidoni, published by Pataki Publications and, apart from the wonderful fairy tale, it includes songs with lyrics and music by Maria Kilaidoni, released by MinosEMI.

On stage, Maria Kilaidoni and two other musicians, Themos “Apicos” Rizos on guitar and Alexis Stenakis on piano and clarinet, perform the roles of the fairy tale and play live music, “introducing” us to Ririka and her friends through a musical theatrical journey full of fantasy and lots of humor!
