Cooperation Memorandum between the Hellenic Open University and the Press Museum of the Association of Editors of Daily Newspapers of Peloponnese, Epirus and Islands was signed at the premises of the Hellenic Open University University in Patras, on 24/11/2022, by the President of the H.O.U., Professor Ioannis Kalavrouziotis and the President of the Board of Directors of Press Museum of the Association of Editors of Daily Newspapers of the Peloponnese, Epirus and Islands, Mr. Michalis Vasilakis.

Present were also the Vice President of H.O.U., Professor Ioannis Symphetheros, the President of Press Museum of the Association of Editors of Daily Newspapers of the Peloponnese, Epirus and Islands Mr. Kyriakos Kortesis and the President T.E.A.S. of Press Museum of the Association of Editors of Daily Newspapers of the Peloponnese, Epirus and Islands Mr. Thanasis Babanevas.

Among the objectives of the Cooperation Memorandum are the provision of educational training programs, which will be offered by the method of distance education through the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning of the H.O.U, the co-organization of cultural, social and educational activities (workshops, lectures, seminars, exhibitions, tributes), the strengthening of cooperation and the exchange of know-how, the submission of joint publications, the cooperation in matters of utilization of cultural work for the direct benefit of society and exchange of good practices of strategic partnerships with local communities, regional, national and international bodies.

It should be pointed out that the Memorandum of Cooperation is not limited in time and therefore the synergy of the two bodies will be continuous, dynamic and timeless.
