From Saturday 22 to Thursday 27 October 2022, the National Library of Greece (NBB) in collaboration with the Coordination of Oral History Groups will host the Oral History Week at its premises at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.

The events begin with the 3rd Oral History Festival (22-24 October), during which the Oral History Groups from all over Greece will present their work, under the central title  “Stories of Everyday Life”. The theme of the two days on 25 and 26 October will be education under the theme:   “Oral History as a method and method of teaching and practice”. At the same time, two guided tours of the EBE and six educational events will be held.  The workshops on Oral History and Historical Mapping, will be held in two guided tours and six workshops, “Oral History as a method and method of teaching and practice”. At the same time, two guided tours of the EBE and six educational events will be held.  The workshops on Oral History and Historical Mapping, the Oral History and Historical Mapping workshops will be held in two guided tours and six workshops on the subject of Oral History.

On 27 October, World Day of Audiovisual Heritage, there will be an event   A Dialogue Workshop on Oral History, co-organised by the HEA-OPI. The speakers will address issues related to the management of audiovisual archives, the   methodology of oral history and its dissemination in society. Objective of the Workshop   is to enhance the further development of oral history and at the same time the launch of a new initiative of the National Library of Greece   for the promotion of Oral and Local History and the preservation of their archives. The conference will close with a festive concert by Argyris Bakirtzis and Xeimerinoi Kolymvites.
