The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the National Library of Greece (NLG) are collecting books for the bookstore of the homeless on the occasion of the theft of thousands of books that took place a few days ago from the bookstore on Pireos Street in the centre of Athens.

The aim is to collect as many new or used books in good condition as possible.

The gathering of the books will take place daily Monday – Friday 09:00-20:00 and Saturday 09:00-14:00 at the info point of the NLG at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.
