The volume, which condemns Turkey’s insult to the iconic monument by converting it into a mosque, presents thirty-seven temples of the Wisdom of God built on the model of the iconic temple of Hagia Sophia in Constantinople in eleven countries. Two Cypriot churches stand out: the Gothic-style Church of St Sophia within the Venetian walls of the occupied area of Nicosia and the Church of St Sophia in Paphos, which was converted into a mosque.
