A sonic garden emerges at the French School of Athens. Five sound artworks and live performances create a fantastic soundscape that will make you wonder about the relationship between the natural and the human world. The acoustic life of the garden is enriched with new sound surprises.

Imagine a garden full of sounds that will make you turn your attention to your surroundings, a fantastic soundscape that aims to stimulate your hearing and make you think about the relationship between the natural and human world. The Garden of the French School of Athens will be occupied by sound artworks designed specifically for this space, enriching its acoustic life with sonic surprises.

A celebration of the world of sound, this exhibition is the fourth to be held as part of the European Sounds Now project, bringing together audiences in different public spaces in five European cities and creating an acoustic experience that attempts to provoke engagement with the environment, between people and with other species, with their commonalities and shared rhythms.

Sound installations are the key element of the project, as they can lead to new perceptions while promoting the need for change at a societal level.
