Objects may be closer than they appear.

The unfocused photograph of a woman from the past and the vague memory of the real image highlight the corrupted memories and the practice of photography that replaces them with equally fake documentation. Visual memories are formed again when we recall them, while photographs are made of the traces of time that we choose to keep.
