The Bragggart Contemporary Art Gallery www.braggart.gr he presented in the cellar of the Museum of wine Vine – House of Man Tyrnavos, Mansion Stavros Karassos in collaboration with the Association of women of Tyrnavos, the Group Art Exhibition “What is the other half nobility?”. During the group art exhibition, Paintings, digital art, sculptures, ceramics, photography were presented.

From time immemorial, man had a desire to interpret what surrounded him. Thus were born Proverbs, sayings, customs, which are an integral part of the cultural heritage and resonate to this day in our ears.

Cleanliness is half the nobility. We will surely remember our grandmothers telling us so. To be a Lord then entailed wealth and a good life. The Lord had to be polite and always tidy – clean. The Squire’s house was always bright. But the simple people, not having the possibility of wealth, took care to always be clean.

He felt proud when visitors saw his house neat as a mansion. The Pure is directly linked to order and harmony, likability, beauty and balance.  Since cleanliness is half the nobility, what is the other half the nobility? it is wealth, nobility, honor, morality, dignity, beauty or something else;

Every person asked will say something different. The hateful nobility can be hidden in a word, an object, an event.

The artists participated: Stergios Adam, Eleni Gatsiou, Zois Geros, Maria Zisopoulou, Ioulitta Karamavrou, Haris Kontosphyris, Mariella Bilitsa, Dimitris Palantzas, Vassilis Sentzas.
