Art Athina 2026 is once again set to welcome art lovers this year, on new dates and at a new venue: from November 12 to 16, 2026, at Onassis Ready.

The largest annual visual arts event in Greece, organized by the Panhellenic Association of Art Galleries, with Antonis Kourkoulos serving as general director, is moving this year from the Zappeion Hall, where it has been held every year since 2019. This change is due to the suspension of operations at the historic building for renovation, in anticipation of Greece’s Presidency of the European Union in the second half of 2027.

With a history spanning 33 years, Art Athina ranks among Europe’s longest-running art fairs, maintaining a steadfast focus on showcasing contemporary Greek and international visual art, while demonstrating its ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

The Onassis Foundation’s new venue, Onassis Ready, has already become a fixture on the city’s cultural map. The relocation of the fair to the industrial area of Agios Ioannis Renti marks a new chapter for the event, while offering a different experience to the public and the art galleries.

Preparations for the upcoming event have already begun with the aim, as every year, of presenting a carefully curated overview of the contemporary art scene.

Applications will be posted soon on the fair’s official website: art-athina.gr
