Eran means to fall in love! The music group “Eran” with two music albums and many public appearances consists of Nektarios Pachiadakis on lyre and singing and Kyveli Sergiou on singing, lute or percussion. From their first steps, their interest in expanding their musical space was evident, but always focusing on our unique Cretan tradition. This musical encounter with the double bass comes as something natural and expected to bridge musical traditions and create new sounds.

This time the deep and rhythmic accompaniment of the double bass of the virtuoso Manos Papadakis gives familiar traditional sounds another dimension, sometimes mysterious and sometimes playful and modern. Cretan tunes and songs of other places from Asia Minor to Andalusia, South Italy and Armenia meet with modern compositions and continue their long course with renewed energy.
