Featuring four routes and a large number of participants, the 8th “Evangelos Koubaros” Kissavos Marathon will take place on Sunday, May 26, in the municipal communities of the Municipality of Agia.
The Marathon is organized by the Agia Health Runners Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Agia and the Region of Thessaly, and includes the following routes:
- 40 km route: Starting and finishing at the central square in Agia, with a start time of 7:30 a.m. (Agia – forest trail – Megalovryso – forest trail – Kissavos Peak – Trail O2 – Anatoli – Trail O2 – Metaxochori – Agia)
- 20 km route: Starting and finishing at the central square in Agia, with a start time of 9:00 a.m. (Agia – forest trail – Megalovryso – forest trail – Ailia – Metaxochori – Agia)
- 12 km route: Starting and finishing at the central square in Agia, with a start time of 10:00 a.m. (Agia – forest trail – Megalovryso – forest trail – Metaxochori – Agia)
- 1,500-meter children’s race: Starting in Metaxochori and finishing in the central square of Agia, with a start time of 10:15 a.m. (Metaxochori–Agia).
- Awards Ceremony: 2:00 p.m. at Agia’s Central Square.
