Acting classes with actor, director, and theater teacher Fanis Kassios begin this Saturday at the Petrosophy International Cultural Center in Agioi Theodoroi. The sessions will take place every Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., focusing on acting and theatrical techniques from ancient theater to the present day.

Starting with the body and the voice, participants will learn basic techniques of diaphragmatic breathing, voice placement, elocution, speech training, and movement. Through exercises and improvisation, they will explore their emotions and expressive capabilities, with the goal of fostering personal expression, communication, and relief from everyday stress.

The program will focus on the dramatic analysis of plays and character development, leading up to the preparation of a theatrical performance. Theater is approached as a space for experiential learning and creative interaction, offering participants the opportunity to better understand themselves and others.
