The Municipality of Chania and the Municipal Gallery of Chania in collaboration with the MOMus-Museum of Photography of Thessaloniki organize in the month of May a series of parallel events entitled “On Photography” in the context of the photography exhibition “landscape stories”, curated by Iraklis Papaioannou.

The parallel actions include a photographic walk in cultural sites of the Municipality of Chania, which are currently hosting photography exhibitions, with discussions and guided tours during the walk.

On Saturday 18 May, International Museum Day, an educational programme for families entitled “Photography. The Ark of the Planet”. There will also be evening tours of the exhibition with photographers and meetings of local groups, clubs and schools that have been involved in photography for years. Each group will give a presentation of their interesting journey, their important work and their many projects, followed by a discussion on the art of photography.

The parallel activities are curated and coordinated by Anna Nebavlaki, responsible for the educational programmes related to the exhibition.
