The exhibition Mystery_29 Eleusis-Raw Museum, the emblematic project of 2023 Eleusis European capital of Culture for the modern and unknown history of the city, after its successful first presentation at the Benaki Museum / Piraeus 138 with more than 5000 visitors, comes to Eleusis. From December 14, 2022 to February 19, 2023, residents and visitors of the city will have the opportunity to undertake a rare exploration of its mysteries and uniqueness, in a special meeting of personal narrative and collective memory. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, December 13 at 18: 00. Admission to the exhibition is free.

The Mystery_29 Elefsina-Raw Museum, under the supervision of architect – museologist Erato Koutsoudaki, attempts to interpret the city as an exhibit inviting the public to a journey to the core of its existence; from antiquity and modern times, to tradition and internal migration, refugees, industrial development, the long-suffering working reality, the relationship of the city with the arts and Aeschylus, whose birthplace, to the people and communities that compose it. Photographic documents of Greek and international artists, lithographs, rare exhibits of collectors, as well as a narrative documentary of talking portraits in a rare journey to the viewer and unseen Eleusis.
