The University of Cyprus Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Student Innovators -SINN2024 will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in room 010, KOD 07 building.

Student Innovators (Sinn2024) is the internal student entrepreneurship and innovation competition of the University of Cyprus and is organized annually by the Entrepreneurship Centre in collaboration with the Department of Business and Public Administration.

The competition is for innovative business ideas at an early stage and during the competition students present creative ideas and innovative solutions in a 5-minute public presentation (Pitch). Sinn 2024 aspires to attract the groups of students attending the Entrepreneurship courses offered by the Department of Business Administration and the Entrepreneurship Centre as well as all students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation in general. The competition provides an opportunity to showcase ideas and innovations developed in the context of courses, projects, etc.

The aim of this competition is to become a platform for the promotion of increasingly better ideas and innovations developed by members of the student community and at the same time to strengthen efforts to create a steady flow of ‘young gifted entrepreneurs’ through the University of Cyprus.

The evaluation criteria include: Feasibility of the idea, Convincing and cost-effective implementation plan, Team recommendation, Communication/presentation skills, Market understanding and Innovation of the idea and competitive advantage.
