The magazine: “Kefalos – The Literary Magazine of Kefalonia” and the publishing house: “Kefalos Publications” announce the 3rd Panhellenic Kefalos Art Competition.

The categories of the competition are four:

a. Painting

b. Photography

c. Hagiography

d. Digital Art

In the painting category you can participate with a work of yours, regardless of style and with a free subject. You must photograph the work and send it to us in a high-resolution photo (.jpeg).

In the photo category you can enter a high-resolution (.jpeg) free-subject photo in either or both of the following sub-categories:

a. Color Photography and b. Black and White Photography.

In the category of hagiography you can participate with a project of yours with a free subject. You must photograph the work and send it to us in a high-resolution photo (.jpeg).

In the category of digital art you can participate with a project of yours with a free subject. You must photograph the work and send it to us in a high-resolution photo (.jpeg).

The following are eligible to participate in the competition:

a. Young People from 15-30 years old.

b. Adults aged 31+.

You can send the files of your project or projects only via e-mail or wetransfer.com (for large files) to the email: [email protected] in digital image format (.jpeg) until February 25, 2024. Together the following information must be sent in a word or pdf file: name, address, email, project title, dimensions (for the painting), style (for the painting) and year of creation.

The following will be awarded:

a. In the 18 to 30-year-old category: three awards, three commendations and three honorable mentions.

b. In the category of adults aged 31 and over: three awards, three commendations and three honorable mentions.

The members of the jury will be announced to the public when the results are announced.

The results will be announced within the second fortnight of May 2024 at the latest.

The award ceremony will take place in June 2024. All the distinguished works of the competition will be included in a commemorative visual-photo album.
