The tribute for the 100th anniversary of Maria Callas birth is expected to mark the cultural milestone in Patras and the wider region in the month of June.
The concert entitled "…I lived for art and love! -Vissi D' Arte Vissi d' Amore", will take place at 9.30 in the evening at the castle of Rio on Friday 23 June and will be a tribute to the unique personality of the Greek diva soprano, who was to become a symbol of a woman for all time.

They interpret: Vasiliki Karagianni – soprano, Artemis Bogri – mezzo soprano, Mary Gougusi – soprano, Ioanna Tsilimiga – soprano, Andreas Karaoulis – tenor, Harris Andrianos – baritone, Lydia Angelopoulou – mezzo soprano, Stamatis Beris – tenor
Also participating are Lina Geronikou (mezzo soprano), Ioanna Tsilimiga (soprano) and the Choir of the Municipal Conservatory of Patras under the direction of the conductor Lina Geronikou.
