During the month dedicated internationally to autism, the volunteer group HER-autism from Heraklion, Crete, is participating once again in Greece’s largest inclusive and accessible Art and Culture Festival, the 4th Nevronas FESTival, which has won awards both domestically and internationally, from April 17 to 19 at Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens (Gazi).

This has now become an established event, organized by the social organization NEVRONAS (Athens) and led by occupational therapist Nikos Pagidas. This year’s main partners for the event are the non-profit organization Together for Autism—founded by former international basketball player Dimitris Papanikolaou, who is now a multifaceted and active supporter of the autism community— and the Open School Days Association from Thessaloniki, led by educator Zacharias Spanos.

At the 4th Nevronas FESTival, HER-autism is expanding its festival presence with: the “ARTism by HER-autism II” art exhibition, an information kiosk, and a panel discussion.
