Four encounters about the confusion caused by the world that comes and is presented to us as future perfect, a future that is at once perfect, but also predetermined, enacted. How do contemporary artistic practice and critical discourse in the sciences, movements and civil society react to this image of a perfect-finished future?

The four roundtable discussions will take place in the framework of the Athens Epidaurus 2024 Festival, with the participation of artists from the programme and distinguished speakers from across the spectrum of humanities, letters and arts, curated by Dimitris Papanikolaou, Professor of Modern Greek and Cultural Studies at the University of Oxford.
