As part of the Interdepartmental Graduate Program of the Department of Medicine and the Department of Nursing at the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly, entitled “Primary Health Care,” interested prospective graduate students for the 2026–2027 academic year are invited to submit their applications to the Secretariat of the Program.

The Master’s Program accepts graduates of Schools of Health Sciences and other departments at Greek universities or recognized equivalent institutions abroad, as well as graduates of Technical Educational Institutes (TEI) in related fields. In exceptional cases, graduates of universities and technical colleges may be admitted, provided they can demonstrate proven professional and research experience in health services.

The Master’s program consists of 3 academic semesters, which include 8 courses and the completion of a Master’s thesis. The total number of credit units (ECTS) required to earn the Master’s Degree is 90 ECTS.

The courses in the Master’s program are held approximately once (1) a month from Thursday through Saturday (some courses are conducted via distance learning in accordance with legal provisions).

Tuition fees amount to €3,000 for the entire duration of the program and are paid in three installments at the start of each semester.

One scholarship (tuition reimbursement) is awarded to the master’s student who ranks first based on their grade point average and who completes their studies within the prescribed time frame (three semesters).
