The lecture entitled “Egyptian Pyramids” of the Third Cycle of Educational Lectures on “Architecture and History”, co-organized by the Hellenic Authors’ Society and the Epigraphic Museum, scheduled for February 28, has been postponed to Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 18:00, due to the general strike of ADEDY. The speaker is Professor Emeritus of the National Academy of Sciences and academic Manolis Korres, who is also a member of the Hellenic Authors’ Society.

The speaker will refer to the historical context, the location, the design principles and construction of the pyramids, to related theories and to the major issue of the organization of construction sites.
