The Hellenic Authors’ Society and the Epigraphic Museum co-organize the Second Cycle of Educational Lectures in January 2024 on “From Talos to artificial intelligence: mind machines” by the Cypriot author and mathematician Tefkros Michaelides.

The speaker, who is a member of the Hellenic Authors’ Society and a founding member of the Hellenic Club of Crime Literature Writers and the group Thalis and Friends, deals with issues that extend to broader fields, such as Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, etc. In his lectures he will describe the long and arduous journey from primitive – real or imaginary – machines to today’s robots and search engines, e-booking, e-banking and the future that AI holds for us.

The lectures will be given on 11, 18 and 25 January 2024 at the Epigraphic Museum, Tositsa 1 (entrance KEM: Centre for Epigraphic Studies) in the area of Exarchia.

The first series of three lectures will start on Thursday 11 January 2024 at 18.00, with Mr Tefkros Michaelides as speaker and the topic: “From Talos to artificial intelligence: mind machines“.

All lectures are free of charge.
