The National Library of Greece (NLG) — drawing on the richness of its collections, its modern infrastructure, and its long-standing educational role — announces the launch of a new series of educational programs for the 2026–2027 school year.

The primary goal of the programs is to provide participants with meaningful exposure to the world of libraries, manuscripts, rare books, archives, and cultural heritage. Through innovative, experiential, and participatory approaches, a love of reading, critical thinking, and creative learning are encouraged.

During the 2026–2027 school year, special emphasis is placed on creative workshops, the use of digital educational tools, and interaction with authentic artifacts. At the same time, the programs incorporate the principles of sustainable development, emphasizing the importance of equal access to knowledge and the preservation of collective memory.

For the 2026–2027 school year, the NLG is implementing the following educational programs:

3. I discover, observe, and trace!
4. Where Knowledge Is Preserved
