On Friday, August 28, under the light of the Oxyrrhygos Full Moon, the Full Moon Film Marathon returns to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) to pay cinematic tribute to Stanley Kubrick, one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of cinema, who remains both a classic and utterly contemporary. At the Stavros Niarchos Park Glade—and, as always, with free admission—film enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch four of his iconic films back-to-back: Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, and The Shining.
