
Open University of Cyprus (OUC) offers for the new academic year 4 BAs, 22 MAs, 3 PhD programs with 11 research areas, as well as all the Thematic Units (TU) as stand-alone-independent.
The programs are offered by OUC, with applications accepted until June 8, 2026, and are accredited by the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (DIPAE). At the same time, they are recognized in Greece by DOATAP in accordance with its established procedures.
The following programs are offered at a significantly reduced cost:
BA Program:
- Studies in Hellenic Culture – Total cost: €6,000
With three academic tracks: (a) Literature, (b) History and Archaeology, and (c) General Studies.
- Business Economics(10% reduction in fees for 2026–2029)
MA programs (90 ECTS):
- Management, Technology and Quality – €4.600
- Greek Linguistics and Literature – €3.300
Two academic tracks: (a) Applied-Educational Linguistics and (b) Literature-Literary literacy
- Educational Sciences – €3.300
With four academic tracks: (a) Educational Leadership and Policy, (b) Social Justice Education, (c) Special Education (with the option of an internship), and (d) Instructional Technology.
- Sustainable Environment Engineering – €3.900 (+an additional 10% discount)
- Security and Defence (15% reduction in tuition fees for 2025–2028)
- Human-Computer Interaction (10% tuition reduction for 2026–2027)
- International Shipping Management (10% tuition reduction for 2026–2028)
- Healthcare Management (restructured program; tuition fees will be reduced—relevant decisions are pending)
MA Programs (120 ECTS):
- Cultural Policy and Development – €4.400
- Bioethics– Medical Ethics– €360 per unit
With two academic tracks: (a) Bioethics and (b) Medical Ethics.
- Environmental Conservation and Managemet – €3.900 (+an additional 10% discount)
Two academic tracks: (a) Energy and Pollution and (b) Terrestrial Ecosystem Conservation and Management.
- Theatre Studies – €3.400
With three specializations: (a) Reception of Ancient Drama (b) Theatre-in-Education and (c) Acting and Directing.
Dicounts are provided by the University to eligible prospective students (e.g., students with disabilities, single parents, families with many children, unemployed APKY graduates, etc.).
