The National Library of Greece provides its visitors with assistive devices for people with visual impairments, for on-site use, with the aim of facilitating access to its collections.

These devices include, among others:

• ergonomic magnifying glasses with additional reading aids (e.g., LED lighting)
• aspherical reading magnifying glasses
• magnifying rulers with a guide line
• digital magnifying glass with a 5-inch LCD screen

The equipment was procured with funding from the Erasmus+ program, as part of initiatives that promote equal access to knowledge and information.
