The Bridges Cycle Open Platforms Auditions return in the 2024-2025 season, focusing on the creative interactions and the osmosis between jazz, ethnic, rock and art Western music with different cultural and musical idioms. Particular emphasis is placed on the idioms of minority communities and individual musicians living in Greece from Europe, Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and how they interact with the music and musicians of the country. It is worth noting that this platform, in the past years, has been instrumental in the exploration, recording, promotion and support of young artists, performers and creators living and working in Greece. To date, some four hundred auditions have taken place, enabling a significant number of musicians to be hosted at events at Megaron the Athens Concert Hall.

Musical groups or individuals working in Greece or Greeks from abroad who wish to participate in the auditions for the “Open Platforms” with the characteristics described above should submit:

A) Text in doc format (up to 500 words) with information about the band and/or the musicians. The information should include biographical data, musical activities and concerts, information about the identity and style in which the group’s music is moving and the necessary contact details (phone, email, name of the person in charge).

B) Audio material in mp3 or wav format, or audiovisual material in mp4 of 7-10 minutes duration. Alternatively, links can be sent in which we can see the work of the team.

The above items must be sent by wetransfer and the name of the team and the date of sending must be included in the file.
