The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation and its Historical Library have the great pleasure to announce the acquisition of the Loverdos Library, a famous collection of old books, manuscripts and other historical material.
The Loverdos Library includes among its hundreds of antiquarian books very important documents of ancient Greek literature as well as important sections of Travel Books, History, History of Books, Literature, Art and other areas of Greek and foreign literature. The collection also includes an excellent quality copy of the Charta (Map) of Rigas and a large number of manuscripts.
The Loverdos Collection will be an important addition to the Historical Library of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation and will be made available to readers and the educational and research community after its immediate re-cataloging.
