From 6 to 8 April 2024, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC), in collaboration with the WOW Foundation, presents for the second year the WOW – Women of the World festival, the world’s largest event for women, femininity and non-binary people. Since 2010, when the first festival was held in London, WOW has grown to more than 100 festivals and events reaching over five million people in 30 locations across six continents.

After the extremely positive response to last year’s first event at the SNFCC, which exceeded 3,600 visits, this year, WOW Athens attempts once again to address the most topical issues in the struggle for gender equality, both locally and internationally, and to give a platform to the voices and stories that inspire and give hope for a more just world.
