A new excursion will take place on Sunday 12/3 at 11:00 in the wetlands of Western Lesvos. Starting from the premises of KPEN in Skala Kallonis. The wetlands in which we will move will again be the neighbors of Skala Kalloni, after an introductory presentation. We believe we will find some of the first spring bird species in our excursion!

The excursions to the wetlands of Western Lesvos are carried out under the Act “actions for the promotion of protected areas of Lesvos”, which has been included in the Operational Program “North Aegean 2014-2020”. The Act includes awareness-raising actions of residents, visitors and students (of Lesvos and schools from all over the country) for the wetlands of Western Lesvos, through a series of information events, seminars and excursions to nature.
