Master’s Program Description
The Master’s Program (MSc) in “Robotics, STEAM and New Technologies in Education” aims to educate highly qualified scientists and educators by providing specialized knowledge in educational robotics, STEAM fields, and new technologies in education. Graduates will be able to apply this knowledge both in the educational process and in the development of innovative teaching methodologies and techniques.
The STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) aims to equip students and learners with the skills and competencies required for the creative resolution of modern problems, while fostering a high-quality, autonomous scientific and professional workforce. STEAM promotes transdisciplinary learning by utilizing Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics as benchmarks to guide student research, dialogue, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
Graduates of the program acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for a successful career in both the private and public sectors, including educational institutions and organizations, companies providing STEAM-related services, schools at all educational levels, public organizations, and higher education institutions. Consequently, they develop a strong scientific background, practical experience, and technical expertise in managing and implementing modern educational technologies.
Key areas of training include: programming robotic systems, educational robotics kits and humanoids, 3D printing & 3D scanning, the use of drones, Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and tools, pedagogy, and research development.
