
A special honorary distinction on the occasion of the completion of 25 years of operation of the Telloglio Arts Foundation of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was awarded to the General Director of the Telologion and Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Alexandra Goulaki – Voutyra, by the President of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia (PEDKM), Ignatios Kaitezidis. The award ceremony took place in the context of the cutting of the PEDKM’s annual cake at a central hotel in Thessaloniki.
Receiving the honorary distinction, which is an expression of recognition from the Mayors of Central Macedonia for the contribution of Teloglion to art, culture and research, Mrs.Goulaki-Voutyra, thanking for the initiative, noted that “Teloglion has been trying all these 25 years to serve art with unparalleled zeal, implementing the purpose of Alice Telloglou, which was the dissemination of culture to all. This is what we have been trying to do over the years with the more than 250 exhibitions we have had at Teloglion and this is what we will continue to do. In fact, you will see this during this year, which is more than an anniversary for us, we are planning special exhibitions and events. Needless to say, this distinction belongs to all those who have served Teloglion over the years.”
