The Rectorial Authorities of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki announce on Monday 20 June 2022 at 10:00, at the KEDEA of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the launch of an easy-to-use information system for the registration of scientific equipment and the management of requests for its use.

Through the digital platform, the large equipment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will be accessible both by the scientific community of the institution for research purposes and by society and productive institutions for the provision of services.

The incentives for its use and the benefits that can be derived from this initiative are significant. In summary, they are as follows: (a) transparency, systematic promotion and exploitation of the large scientific equipment of the AUTH, which is public property (b) systematic digital inventory of the research infrastructure of the AUTH, in the context of the digital upgrade of its services (c) enhancement of synergy and interdisciplinarity among the members of the AUTH, aiming at high quality scientific knowledge and attracting more funding for research (d) planning of the procurement of scientific equipment for the AUTH, so that it is coordinated and strategically planned and implemented in a coordinated manner (e) the development of the scientific infrastructure of the AUTH, in order to ensure that it can be used in a more efficient and effective way.
