The Municipality of Thessaloniki, as part of the events marking the 200th anniversary of the Exodus of the Missolonghi Garrison, is organizing a major art exhibition titled

“MISSOLONGHI– From the Siege to Immortality.”

The exhibition features artifacts from the collections of the “Diexodos” Historical Museum, part of the Diexodos Center for Literature and Art in Messolonghi.

The opening will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., hosted by the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, and the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Vasileios Gakis, in the presence of the Mayor of the Holy City of Missolonghi, Spyros Diamantopoulos.
