The Russian invasion of Ukraine at 24th of February 2022, with thousands of people dead or injured, millions of refugees, and dozens of destroyed cities and villages, brings to mind the dark days of European history of the 20th century. The NLG organizes this discussion as an expression of solidarity towards our fellow people in Ukraine, discussing openly and with the proper words. This war, as well as any other, concerns us all.

The National Library of Greece inaugurates the cycle of events “Logos 10”, which is being organized by the President of the Board of Trustees of the National Library of Greece, Mr. Stavros Zoumboulakis. The first event is entitled “On Russia’s war against Ukraine” and will take place on Thursday 14 April 2022, 19:00 to 21:00, in the Book Tower of the National Library of Greece, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre. Admission is free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
