With the completion of the first part of the presentations for the promotion of contemporary scientific research to the wider public, the Society of Cretan Historical Studies/Historical Museum of Crete is organising the last meeting of this cycle on Saturday 13 April at 11:00. The purpose of the meeting is to present the archival material kept by local institutions, to inform about its extent, availability, condition and potential for use in the context of historical research.

The presentation will be attended by Dimitris Savas, Head of the Vikelaia Municipal Library of Heraklion and Yannis Alexandrakis, Head of the Audiovisual Department of the same institution. The General State Archives- Heraklion General Archives Department will be represented by Head Anna Malli, while the Curator of the Library and Archives, Irini Foucaraki, will speak on behalf of the Historical Museum of Crete.
