The event in memory of Havel takes place following the discussion regarding the Prague Spring in June 2018.

The second event of the “Logos 9” cycle, which is organized by the President of the Board of Trustees of the National Library of Greece, Mr. Stavros Zoumboulakis, is dedicated to a great European figure, Václav Havel. The event entitled The moral and political legacy of Václav Havel (1936-2011): Ten years after his death will take place on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 19:00, at the Book Tower of the National Library of Greece, at the Stavros Foundation Cultural Center Niarchos.

The event in memory of Havel takes place following the discussion regarding the Prague Spring in June 2018. The presentations of that event, supplemented with texts from the public debate between Václav Havel and Milan Kundera during the years 1968-1969, were recently published in the series “Logos” of the National Library of Greece, under the title The Prague Spring: the other 1968, with the support of the Czech Center Athens.
