The publication attempts, at the present crucial circumstance, to reassess the flow of the Athenian Underground. A small circle of people under the difficult conditions of post-civil war Greece, painters, poets, writers, filmmakers will become the bearers of an “underground”, “parallel” culture that not only questions but mocks the established way of life of Greek society. Of course, the models of the movement come from abroad, with the necessary adaptations to the Greek reality.

Texts and photographs outline the aspects of the movement: the art, the thought, love and politics.
