Following the successful presentation of the programme at Gloria Gallery (Nicosia-Cyprus, 6-23 May 2022), the exhibition “Ten Educational Notebooks – Agios Georgios Pegeias” will be inaugurated at the Telloglio Foundation on Friday 27 May at 19:30.

The Ten Educational Notebooks are an original, systematic and comprehensive programme of an archaeological, educational and aesthetic nature, which aims to help teachers in the preparation and implementation of visits of primary, secondary and high school students to the archaeological site of Agios Georgios (western cape of Cyprus Dreponon). The project also serves as a model for visits to any archaeological site and is not exclusively addressed to teachers. The Ten Educational Notebooks are presented in an exhibition at the Telloglion Foundation because of the source and spontaneous motivation of their authors, their varied content and their artistic composition.

The compilation of the Notebooks was carried out by former members of the Greek Archaeological Mission to Agios Georgios Pegeias (University of Thessaloniki and Ministry of Culture) and collaborating teachers under the supervision of the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus and sponsored by the Anastasios G. Tellis Foundation. Leventis (Nicosia), according to the curricula of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth of Cyprus. Artworks by the painters and teachers Rinou Stefani and Susan Vargas enrich the notebooks.
